STUDIO & ADMIN ASSISTANT

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on individual to support the day-to-day running of the studio and help us continue shaping and growing the business in alignment with our values.
This is a varied position combining studio coordination, administration, and e-commerce support.
You will work closely with Milena Silvano and play an important role in maintaining smooth studio operations.
This role would suit someone with a genuine interest in sustainable fashion and small-scale independent production, someone who will bring excellent organisational skills, strong time management and initiative. A willingness to support day-to-day studio tasks and routine jobs when needed is essential.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Studio operations:
create and maintain studio schedule liaise with machinists, makers and suppliers
monitor stock levels of studio supplies and packaging materials
assist with basic bookkeeping using Excel
support and improve studio systems while maintaining high quality standards
*Logistics & E-commerce:
manage customer enquiries and maintain thoughtful, attentive customer communication
fulfil customer orders, including packing and shipping
prepare shipping labels and export documentation
assist with Shopify store management and updates

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
*Working knowledge of Shopify, including:
updating products and customer information
creating draft orders
setting up markets
understanding international shipping and taxation
email marketing platforms and customer segmentation
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
*Understanding of garment construction preferred
*Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign preferred
*Strong organisational skills and proactive problem-solving attitude
*Ability to work independently in a small studio environment

IN-HOUSE MACHINIST

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented machinist to support the production of our one-of-a-kind garments.
This is a hands-on role within a small studio, working closely with the founder to bring designs to life with care and precision.
This position would suit someone with strong technical skills, and a particular interest in leather and sheepskin.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with sample development and prototyping.
Support construction improvements through practical feedback.
Carry out pressing, finishing, and quality control.
Maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
Assist with general studio tasks as needed.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Strong experience using industrial flat stitch sewing machines.
Solid understanding of garment construction and finishing.
Ability to work with a range of fabrics, with a special interest in leather and sheepskin.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work independently and follow instructions.
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in small-scale or independent production preferred.
